was greeted wildly by fellow cuzzins, aunts, uncles and family after being sent home by farah's parents(thanks again). they were bbq-ing when i got home! yum.. luckily the father's day game have not started yet! i dun want to miss out on the Fun! ok, so after eating the barbecued stuff, cam-whored with cuzzins first before the games starts!

the game super hilarious la! the husband and wife are supposed to give answers when given a qsn. the qsns are based on the fathers. the couple who answered the qsns most qsns correctly wins. althou the husband and wife sat at diff places, they still managed to CHEAT! yea! all of them cheated! hahaahaha! so funny!!

FUN! FUN! FUN!- part 1 (gemas!14thjune-16thjune)

im back!!! gemas was super duper fun! yay! took a hell lot of photos!

DAY 1
woke up at 5am
reached school with farah at ard 0640
thanks for the ride farah babe!

after we went thru the custom thingy, we had breakfast at gelang patah? the bus ride was ard 3 hrs.

me n fadee in the bus=)

my roommates=)) sof and zuran

den went for some rest stops and finally reached GEMAS! they greeted us with selawat nabi. and we ate lunch at the balai rakyat. after that we went to our family angkat's place. the family consist of Mak, Abah, Atok and Abang.
roommates with zuran and sof. cikgu fadilah and her son also live the same kampong as us. her son is so cute and super clever lah! very inquisitive thou.

after we settle down and stuff,zuran, sof, farah, hafizah, fadee and me went round the kampung ulu ladang to explore tgether with cikgu fadilah,hafiz(her son)and cikgu nor.

basically day 1 not much of the activity. its just to get to noe the family.
at night cam-whored for a while and finishing the frame for mak and family. while cam-whoring, sof felt uneasy. den i also feel scared la. its malam jumaat when we cam-whored. suddenly got this insect which looks like a grasshopper but its not fly into our room. den we shouted "MAK! CIKGU!" mak came with the sweep and take the thing out but it kept coming in! but eventually got rid of it. phew! the whole night we slept closely. LOL!

DAY 2

Felt silly for behaving inappropriately the night before. haiz. after bathing and stuff we went to the place wher they make getah(rubber)and fruit plantation. then went to sungai to look at it.

we reached the balai rakyat at ard 8? hahaha.. super late! den the org kampong and teachers said a few words and its time for us to say gdbyes! was quite emotional.. cried a bit when salam-ing abah and hugging mak! haiz..
didnt get a chance to take gambar with abang! maybe he also hate gdbyes? lol!

settled down inside the bus and wave at the villagers.. was super sad! haiz.
den went to melacca to what else? shopshop&shop. but i only bought a wallet. so its not much of a shopping trip. window shopping i guess. at last, went to visit hang tuah's well. lazy to take pics.

at long last, reached s'pore anh HOME SWEET HOME

i cant believe i am saying this but i cant wait for gemas!! its better than staying at home all day long with no one to talk to or do something with. nah! not true. got darl cuz and irfan to play with. but still...ugh! utter bored-ness! wonder what they're doing in band camp right now? drills? or maybe they slept already? haiz. oh! btw, my eyes are getting way better. left one big, red dot in each eye. ugh!

still yet to pack my things for gemas. oh, heck. maybe tml. no! MUST pack tml! if not, when else shud i pack, right....

hoohoohoo! i hav stupid sore eyes.. on both eyes some more. yesterday only one eye infected sey.. now the condition worsen. went to see doc just now with kak na, atikah, kak jaja n irfan. irfAn n atikah also kena infected. kak na is waiting for the right time to get infected by atikah and i. dun worry kak na. u probably WILL get it. LOLS! basketball.ahaha. haiz! i never have gotten sore eyes before n not intending to get it.. but wat the heck. on the brighter side, the doctor gave me 1 week mc starting from today! cool, huh? it probably means i cant go for band camp. oh joy! what a glorious world! thank you, god! oh gtg! we're going out! althou the doc advice us not to go out! LOL! will update yesterday's event!

heys! been so long since i've update. mye finished. ok la. quite satisfied with my result. only one C5. and thats maths. grr. but den if combine wif ca1 dunno wat i'll get la. hope i manage to get top 10 so can get new mp3.
last thursday got band. without the sec 4s, the band super small. that day only play the f and b flat note. then announced the comittee and sLs posts. new band and drum major :wirda and alvin, just as expected.

gtg. need to play with irfan. going to guitar concert tonight. kak na performing. lol

finally...
syf is finally over , the sec 4s has finally stepped down..
and im finally updating..=p

on thursday,12th april 2007,
was the day that determined how good our band was..
chey bah.. erm.. anyways..
im sure u all have heard the news by now..
unity sec sch received bronze for the Singapore Youth Festivals..
when i heard the news, my eyes became watery..
disappointment filled my heart..
from a silver medal band we became a bronze medal band..

well.. what really touched my heart was when ms tan came over to us, to the bunch of sec 2 girls..she hugged us and said that we have done well and told us not to cry..
but of cos we cried even more harder.. haha.. wat irony..

when we come back and settle down in ava room and stuff..
mr wong, mrs ong, ms koh, and the alumnis were like saying we did our best
and all..
come to think bout it.. bronze is not really that bad but of course it can be better..
dis years judgement is more stricter than the last two years.. weeelll..
we did our best already..

the next day, which was yesterday, friday, 13th april,
was awards nite.. last day from which the sec 4s will be
inside the band.. haiz..

we were going to perform that day at the back of the hall..
after performing SUNRISE, and getting ready for RHAPSODY
FOR HANUKKAH, the emcee was like already saying thanks for our performance
and welcoming ms tan(principal) on stage for her speech..
den we were all like WTH..
haha.. after long awaiting, we finally played Rhapsody..

after the performance, went to the ava room, bring up all the percussions and stuff..
den its photo taking time!=)
we didnt bring our cameras so we rely on deanna's hp..
thanks deanna!! and frm evonne's cam too!! took some pics..
den at 10pm, the sec 3s present the sec 4s n 5s some slideshows..
anqi gave me a card!! aww.. so sweet! i gave her a hug and
felt tears coming out of my eyes but i tried to control it..

after the slide show, the sec 1s to sec3s waited outside
while mr wong talked to the seniors.. den the seniors went out n
yi jie was nearby us(amirah, syahirah n i)
syahirah was like saying "later there will be no more shingles(nickname of
yi jie)" den it suddenly dawns to me that she was right, no more yi jie ard
to make us laugh and crap ard..
i turned ard and started crying uncontrollably.. so was amirah n syahirah..
and anqi n yi jie comforted us..

haiz.. no more shingles, no more ming yang saying things in malay like"diam je,
ye ke?," and stuff.. no more jonathan who played his trumpet like pro and loudly too
behind me.. no more anqi tuning us section.. sigh.. like wat the great Meon-Haha says,

"things will be different now"(in a British accent)

haix.. it was tiring half-laughing and half-crying..
then, for the final time, jie ying and jonathan fall us out..
the band response was loud and good..
